Carpathian Forest es una banda noruega de black metal con influencias de thrash metal. Fue formada por Nattefrost y Nordavind en 1992, después de su anterior banda, Grimm. Puesto que el lanzamiento del demo en 1992 de la ahora legendaria, "Bloodlust & Perversion" y "Through Chasm, Caves and Titan Woods" en 1993, Carpathian Forest ha ganado un estatus de culto en la escena noruega del black metal.
